Crime and disorder reduction officer Joe Griffiths, who is based at Ystrad Mynach police station, said: 'We have had five creeper burglaries over the weekend which is unusual. We would ask people to be vigilant.
'If they see anybody doing any suspicious activity they should ring the police.'
