PEOPLE have been reassured that Scarborough is a "safe place to live" after a number of attacks on lone women.
Coach Boston Bag ReplicaOn Sunday a woman was attacked in Aberdeen Walk at 4am and she sprained her wrist after she was pushed to the ground.
And a gang of girls attacked a woman in Queen Street, near to the Boyes store, by kicking, punching and pulling hair, before stealing her bag at 9pm on Saturday.
5050 RGB Remote Controller LD-CON-12-WLA third incident saw a frail pensioner pushed to the ground before her attacker ran off with her handbag.
The attack was in Londesborough Road with the attacker described as a white male, with very dark hair, aged between 20 and 30-years-old. He was wearing track suit bottoms with a white stripe.
The victim was left "very shaken" after her ordeal.
Inspector Mike Fenton, of Scarborough Police, said: "These cases are not linked and they are all being actively investigated.

"I would like to remind people that Scarborough is a safe place to live."
